Offense has been decent but not great. Defense has been terrible, horrible, pathetic. But Gonzaga is crazy good. They shot 67% overall and 50% from the arc and 87.5% from the FT line. A little defense would be good in the 2nd half. This game is really about 1 stat, rebounding. Here is the whole deal, no KU wing player has a rebound. That’s right. KU was out rebounded 19-6 and all 6 KU boards were from Lightfoot and McCormack. Alarming!

Rebounding was better in the 2nd half but still bad. Outrebounded 33-24. Ball-handling was so-so or slightly below. Give it to Gonzaga. They are more talented and better team. If both teams are at their best, we still lose. They are a legit no. 1 team.
