Last season, Baylor won 23 games in a row to set the new mark for consecutive wins for a Big 12 team. Kansas previously owned the record of 22 consecutive victories. Gloriously, the Jayhawks ended Baylor's streak in Waco. Kansas, however, ended last season on a 16 game win streak. So we are still in the hunt to retake the crown for Big 12 consecutive wins with 8 straight victories to open the season. The probability of that is pretty slim but certainly possible. The biggest hurdle is waiting on Thursday. If we win that, it puts the goal of 24 straight much better in view.
