Bad news indeed. While it took a LOOOONG time for this to go public which raises questions, it sounds like they have eyewitnesses and video of the incident. Sad to think that the best he can probably hope for is probation instead of prison at this point. Having a felony on your record closes a lot of doors as well.
Wondering if there will be a trial (in which case we'll hear more details), or if he'll make a plea deal.

Can we please never again take a kid on the team if we have to jump thru hoops just to get him eligible? I'm not saying they're all bad kids, but it just never works out and has put KU in a bad light nationally and is in large part why we're in the dog house with the NCAA.
I still contend that our 5 star guys (not all, but most) are usually those that were passed over by Duke, KY and UNC. They pass for a reason.
