In Self I trust, but a home drubbing would have left me more satisfied,

Hic manebimus optime
Yeah we could have blown out TCU, but I'd rather use the game to improve.
I'm happy we got so many minutes for Svi, Cheick, and Carlton. Our main guys need the rest, and these guys need game experience.
Not happy with the last few possessions, of course. Otherwise we led by double digits most of the 2nd half.

I thought this game is what we needed. Obviously as fans we want a big win but I think getting the younger guys some reps was important. I also think that in the early part of the fame when TCU was 5 of 6 from 3 we did not let that bother us and just played it possession at a time. That will pay dividends later.

I too was hoping for more, but there were definitely some positive signs from Bragg, Diallo and Svi.
It was clear that TCU was focused on really slowing the game down so it was hard to get a big emotional run going.
I guess a win is a win is a win. Chalk it up and move on to the next one. There is still along ways to go.
Time to cheer on the Sooners and the Chiefs!
