There were implications that Beaty was attempting to expose issues that might relate to the BB program. His lawyers appeared to have been pretty effective.

I liked AD Jeff Long at first, and even met him once and liked him.

But he's made two colossal blunders that are very embarrassing, and potential devastating to KU.

Getting fooled into admitting the Adidas guy was a booster just to get a faster ruling for Silvio, and now paying the price for admitting boosters paid our players.

Then playing hardball with David Beaty and getting destroyed by Beaty's lawyers, also bringing the FBI trial and and the Les Miles tapes into play.

He better be one heck of a fund raiser or he may not be around much longer.

He has a 5 year contract and would be very expensive to let go.
