A relatively slow paced game with 30 possessions each. But TCU has 37 points on 30 possessions for 1.23 PPP. That is far far far far far and away the worst half for KU for the season. The offense is pretty decent at 1.167 PPP. But the defense is non-existent. Or perhaps TCU is just hotter than imaginable shooting 9-15 from three. Bane and Dennis are 9-11. They can’t possibly keep that up can they?

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!

I had a terrible work day, so was sipping gin gimlets with the neighbor. Came in at half and saw highlights, thinking we were down by 12 or more.

then saw only down 2. Elated. we're ok. go hawks.

1st 15 possessions in the 2nd half KU holds TCU to 10 points. That is 0.67 PPP which is excellent. KU scored 16 on 1st 15 possessions which is okay but not great. Keep up the defense and we will win. 51-47 at 11:41 to play.

I was happy with the way they took TCU’s beat shot early in the second half (first 4 minutes) and then stepped on the gas. Yet another sign that this team is really strong against all styles, and they don’t get rattled.

I can’t believe another season has ended at the Barn.

We each only get a finite number of those to watch, so it’s always a little sad knowing the lights are being turned off there (figuratively speaking) until next October.

Agreed about how quickly the season goes by. Hopefully this team will have a long post season because there is only 1 game left in the regular season.
