Kansas will release public response to allegations of major NCAA violations on Thursday
"Thursday's response is expected to be similar to the one Kansas issued after learning of the original notice of allegations in September 2019. At the time, the school said it "emphatically rejects" the assertion that Adidas reps were considered boosters and agents by the NCAA."

It'll feel better when it stops hurting
The reaction should be 2 words and I'm not saying "Merry Christmas". Seriously, it's time to fight this thing to the bitter end. Take it through the courts. After UNC, this is a joke.

Although . . . . "Merry Christmas" would be a nice non sequitur
NCAA: "You guys are cheating!"
KU: "Merry Christmas to you too!!"

"When I was a freshman, I remember Coach Naismith telling us how important it was to play good defense." - Mitch Lightfoot
I like it, Bayhawk.
Kind of like when the Allied troops were surrounded at the Battle of the Bulge. The German general sent a messenger to the Allied commander telling him that he was completely surrounded and that if he and his troops surrendered, they'd save themselves from being obliterated.
The Allied commander replied with a single word message to the Germans, "NUTS".
I'd absolutely LOVE it if KU responded to the NCAA in the exact same way.

Looks to me like this is going to take a long time to resolve.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
Although not short, this is definitely sweet.
KU is fighting every point, with solid and sound arguments, and pointing out to the NCAA the ginormous can of worms that would be opened if the NCAA enforcement bozos arguments had any sound footing.
This “not-only-NO-but-HELL-NO (and don’t be so stupid, people!)” response is just what I hoped to see.
Now I have only read the EXSUM, and will get to the other documents when I can, but so far, so good.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Per Sasnak’s spot-on take and Bay’s retort, imagine this scene where Chevy is Bill Self and Brian Murray is the NCAA director with his enforcement staff minions.
