Beatty wants his $3M and will try to show that KU has been doing violations much worse with no financial penalty or cause determination. But this may bring in more information/details than is currently in play. You know the more information that the NCAA can get its hands on that shows or implies wrong doing by KU and Self the more they pound us later.

The flip side to that is that if no new information comes out or new information showing less than what we currently believe comes out, then KU will use that against the NCAAs case.

It will be interesting to watch.

Jeff Long needs to suck it up and settle with Beaty before this goes any further. The NCAA has already been refused access to those documents by the courts, just pay up and stop this stupidity before the NCAA has anything solid to work with, assuming something solid exists. Can KU take the risk that it doesn’t? Remember that the NCAA is not a court of law, they don’t have to follow the same rules the courts do. It makes no sense to potentially enable the bastards. Just pay up and shut that tunnel to them.

Beatty is going to need that $3 million because no one is going to hire him after he basically blackmailed his last employer.

It'll feel better when it stops hurting
