The end is nothing; the road is all.

So I got up feeling very apprehensive about the "Big Game" in -- of all places -- Waco (wacko) TX. A joke of an educational institution in a pathetic town, in an oppressive ignorant state. Now before you banish this post to politics board, note my hatred of coach Drew -- the most insecure human being since Donald Trump -- who has made it his sole purpose in life to beat HCBS. And when he did, in the Phog, it really chapped my hide.
So this morning, I had my flag flying high, my crimson and blue string lights blinking around the 2008 championship banner, my "lucky" KU gear worn proudly, and settled in for what was probably going to be a disappointment, I watched as HCBS and his team took care of business. What a great day to be a Jayhawk! We should all pause to reflect on what it means to us. EVERYTHING!!
It's a great time to be alive my friends. And mark my words, I didn't think this team had it in them, but now I know they do.
We're approaching a word where colors collide and shadows explode, next stop, a National Championship!
RCJHGKU!!!

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
Bay this was truly a great day to be a Jayhawk. On the surface, this was an epic game where the top two teams in the country met and the Jayhawks came out on top on the road. A great win by any measure. But what is not necessarily so apparent is that we were in almost every way the better team today. I truly think we set ourselves apart as the best team in the country today. Not everyone is as in tune with the computer algorithms as I am but with 59 computers checking in last Sunday, KU was the clear No. 1 team in the country. With the 2 wins this week, we will be a dominant No. 1 come tomorrow night. The talking heads have prognosticated that there is no dominate team this season. I guess it is how you define dominant. But I would say we are quickly proving we are head and shoulders the best team in the country, we have a great coach, a great coaching staff, maybe the most complimentary three players in the country, and a team that is growing with every game. Nothing is guaranteed in college basketball, but I would not trade places with any other team by a long shot.
