So in the article that Dave posted (
www2.kusports.com/news/2015/dec/30/noteb...versus-no-2-horizon/
), this stat was mentioned:
This, that: KU has won 30 straight games in Allen. KU is 196-9 in Allen during the Self era including a 97-5 mark against non-conference foes. ... Frank Mason III had 13 points, six assists and three steals in 31 minutes.
According to my records, I have KU losing 4 games (not 5) to non-conference foes (see below). Can someone tell me who's right?
KU home losses during Bill Self era
1. Richmond ('03-'04)
2. ISU ('04-05)
3. Nevada ('05-'06)
4. KSU ('05-'06)
5. Oral Roberts ('06-'07)
6. Texas A&M ('06-'07)
7. Texas ('10-'11)
8. Ok St ('12-'13)
9. San Diego St. ('13-'14)

Texas A & M is the 5th non-conference loss.

Today a and m is non conf but at the time of the loss I believe they were in the Big 12. (Acey law game?)
Perhaps an asterisk is needed...to clarify. But bottom line, a loss is a loss.

Wheaty is correct. A&M was Big 12 at the time, so it counts as a conference loss.

Could it be the loss to UMASS in KC in 2009 that counts as a home game?

The end is nothing; the road is all.

No one team "has our number" if you know what I mean. Nevada beat us in Reno (I lost fat stacks on that game ).
Also, Mom and I have put an asterisks on the Tx game because of the T Robinson situation.
Nice compilation Port,
RC

You're very welcome, Bay. So I think it was mistake by the LJW. I'm willing to wager that we have 4 non-conf home losses during Self's tenure.
This is the game we lost in Allen Fieldhouse to Nevada (during the '05 - '06 season) :

And this is the game that Bay was referring to (during HCBS's first year in '03-'04):

I'd "wager" that KC is a NEUTRAL (yeah, right!) court.
