Not sure this is a good thing. I would be happy down around #5. And really not fair to Mich St. With Denzel they would still be #1 and they will get him back.

I think KANSAS across our jerseys is a big enough bull's eye..... If this happens, I'll take it but there will be a lot of changes at the top before early April.

... regarding rankings at this time of year. All very nice if it happens, hope it doesn't go to our guys' heads if it does. All that really matters to me is who is #1 after April 4, 2016.

I am glad we should be number one but it is not that big of a deal IMHO. I just want the guys to play like they did at the start of the 2nd half yesterday. I want them to play "hungry" like they have been disrespected. They can play so well like the 2nd half and so mediocre like the 1st half. We just need to play well enough to win the game on Saturday and Monday.
