All students do that. He's still a student. What's he to do with worthless books. I'm curious.... did he have to buy them himself??

I think you hit the nail on the head mom. "student" athletes have EVERYTHING provided for them. Reselling the books would amount to stealing from the program that gave them to him.

But, I could be wrong,
