There are different types of leaders, and while Perry has taken some criticism for not being a dynamic leader, this account shows that Mr. Ellis IS a leader, but just in a quieter, individual way.
I've had to remind myself that Perry is a very good player and a credit to the team, regardless of his laid-back mannerisms. He quietly goes about the business of scoring in double figures and getting, or at least being close to, double-doubles as he adds rebounding to his repertoire. (And let us not forget that he took a charge in the Montana game! He may not be as soft as some of us thought!)
