2017-05-26: Astute readers will note that as of this morning the KUAD official roster is missing two walk-ons for AY2017-18, senior G Tucker Vang and freshman G Chris Teahan. For Chris it is almost certainly a matter of not being able to list him until he is enrolled, as TTBOMK he has signed no obligating documents at this point. For Tucker, I am not certain if his absence is merely an oversight or if he will not be playing next year. If anyone knows the answer, please let us know. Thanks!
2017-07-19: William & Mary grad transfer big man Jack Whitman drops KU hoops, leaving an open scholarship for another big for the 2017-18 season.

Self seeks to fill Whitman scholarship
2017-12-04: Self announces KU tight end James Sosinski will be added to the roster effective with the Sprint Center game against the University of Washington. From Gary Bedore on Twitter: Self said he's been impressed with Sosinski as a kid, says he is bright and has picked up stuff quickly. Said he will be good for Azubuike, thus is expected to be added to team for Wed game. "He's hard for Udoka to score on," Self said.

2017-12-22: 2018 recruit Silvio De Sousa graduated a semester early and has been cleared to come to KU and practice effective 26 December while waiting for final NCAA clearance for him to play this season. He will fill the final 2017-18 scholarship left open by Jack Whitman's departure, giving KU 10 scholarship players on the active roster (not red shirting) for this season. link

Thanks for this, HE. As always, much appreciated. So Newman and Moore have the same symbol (^) next to their name. But Newman will be playing during the '17-'18 school year. No biggie, but just wanted to point out.

I overlooked deleting the caret next to Newman's name when I copied and pasted last year's roster as my start point. Appreciate the chance to clear up any confusion!

Added 6-7 260 F James Sosinski to the roster as a walk-on from the football team. Expect him to be on the bench for Washington game in Sprint Center this Wednesday.
