“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Is it just me, or are others also nervous and anxious as all get-out today?

Please pass some of what you're having my way, Bay!

Not anxious. I've got a good feeling about this game and like our chances. Even though 538, like everyone else, blew the election, they're giving our lads an 81% chance of winning. Rock Chalk!

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"

Saw them in Sacto in 1974ish (kind of hazy about the date) but didn't know the covered this BTO classic!
Thanks for the pregame jams,

Was surprised to find a Guess Who cover of it, since Randy Bachman wrote it after leaving GW to form Bachman-Turner Overdrive. I think this was a recording from the 1983 Guess Who reunion tour, as Bachman and Burton Cummings were both on stage.
One of my all-time favorite songs, and one of the songs I would sing when I ran (back in the day before my back, feet and knees ended that exercise). TCB, "You Ain't Seen Nothin' Yet", "American Woman" and "Undun" got me through many a mile.
