Too bad, I saw great things ahead for OSU "Underwood".

Will make those kitties who were talking about getting him to replace Weber very sad, so not a total bummer for this Jayhawk.

If Underwood wanted to go to KSU, it would be pretty awkward to move there directly from another Big12 school. Maybe he's setting himself up to move there after 2-3 years in Illinois?

Or maybe not. Can KSU pay enough salary to complete with OSU or Illinois?

Mongo just pawn in game of life.

Reports are that Illini's new AD is spending big time on football and hoops, giving Underwood $3M a year for 7 years. Can't see them giving Brad an out clause to leave for KState for that kind of money, and not sure if KState could compete $wise.

Also lots of buzz about the OSU AD Holder being a petty micro-manager, and that Brad did not appreciate dealing with him. I read that OSU was willing to gradually up Brad's salary to $3M over 5 years, but all things considered he opted to leave instead.

The mom unit and I were pondering this morning....we have a good idea that T Boone would let the money flow for HCBS.....so we figured there was more than $ involved (nothing nefarious) for him to leave after 1 year for Illinois?

He must REALLY like orange!
