Lockdown defense in the beginning while we waited for the basket to stop moving, then we scored often and well, with our starters being their wonderful selves.

Loved Lightfoot's block--reminded me of Withey's keeping the ball in play instead of blocking it into the cheap seats.

Landon--lots of praise from the commentators and very well deserved. Delighted when he seemed so pleased that Lightfoot got him the easy shot under the hoop.

Bragg, I thought, was less of a hindrance and more of a help this game. Good effort and better defense.

It was great to see so many smiles from our young men. They seemed to be having such fun, but not in a arrogant way.

Can someone tell me what the technical foul was all about? The commercials ran long and when the cameras returned to the game, Frank was all alone at the free throw line.

Mostly I saw a good display of sportsmanship.

'Twas a lovely display of excellent basketball with plenty of razzle dazzle sprinkled in!

He was chawing with the ref after the play and walked out of the coaches box and on to the floor in the process. Ref didn't seem to appreciate that.

Ok. So why was the UCD coach so ticked when GRAHAM was on the receiving end of the no-call T-Bone at the end of the first half?

Thanks Murph for your recap.

Seems he thought Graham should have been T'd for jawing with the ref after that criminally ludicrous no call that nearly bisected DG. Of course Coach Les sorta forgot that D got no box he's confined to, and if players got t'd for griping about calls the game would be reduced to shooting tech free throws.

You're most welcome, Wheatie.

I'm certainly no expert on the X's and O's; those were just my amateur observations.
