...yes thats right! coming home yesterday after a lunch with S#2, we were greeted with a very large package sitting on the porch. a quick look showed that it was from 'outback' there, Australia.
well i just knew who that was...we opened it up very briskly; and found a dozen LARGE sized boxes of KLEENEX!!!! she always knows, each year its the one night we go through several boxes watching a KU hoops senior night game.
we quietly kept watching the game, wondering WHEN or IF? the run was coming.
NOT disappointed, and the noise in the room grew louder and louder after every basket. we cried more and more...and in the midst of all that, the local PD called and said, 'TEX are you watching a KU gm? Of course I said; then the PD person said, ok, i'll let the neighbors know, when they keep calling in?! teehee
well, a box each was used when the FINAL SENIOR subs were made at the end...
and then it was over...another home court season finished...Seniors playing and leaving the building. memories pile on top of all the other Senior night years...and our sniffling lessened until we heard and saw the Senior speeches, and it started again. SO THANK NURSE for all your years of care and devotion. thanks to Mrs Texkan for learning how to make the J e l l-o shooters, and thank you KU SENIORS for making great memories...NOW lets carry these cherished moments onward for about four more weeks...RCKJH,
thank you, texkan and family
