Please God Give us Vitale second half

Honest to God, I've never experienced a more awful announcing of a game. This is a great game so far and Walton hasn't made more than a couple comments about the actual game. Pasch defers to Walton and goes along with it.

Never in my life did I think I would be praying for Vitale to show up and take over.

I'm not even listening and I can't hardly watch. They just showed Walton shirtless! What the? Is this the Walton show or a basketball game.

And do we really need a split screen to watch them talk?

How bout the fans behind them? they appear to be standing and blocking everyone's view.

He's the smartest idiot I've seen in a while. And he's not impressed that we've won 13 in a row? Why isn't everyone doing it? Good grief. I will mute the tv because I can't sync up the radio broadcast.

This is excruciatingly painful. He doesn't even know the players names, and he obviously doesn't care.

I was praying for the same thing. Never thought I'd prefer Vitale over ANYONE, but this time he would have been better.

It was a painful game to watch because of so much attention being given to the toothed one with a pasty skin body.

So, I am looking some stuff up after the game....

I've never heard of this pasch guy.....but that poor guy once had to call a pro game with Walton and vitale AT THE SAME TIME!!!!!

if that isn't worth a huge settlement for hazardous work conditions. I'm not sure what would qualify.

Are we supposed to be delighted/entertained by this stuff?

Not good. He was a distraction.

I joined the game a few minutes late and didn't recognize Walton's voice. My thought was, "Who is this guy prattling on. Has to be the worse color commentary guy I've heard." Then when I realize who it was, it made sense. I've never enjoyed him as an announcer and today he was in rare form. More of a sideshow attraction than a basketball commentator.

Bill was for the most part very complimentary of Kansas, speaking in glowing terms about the program, Self and the team. But that was about the only thing I enjoyed about his commentary. I hope to never hear another game with Bill Walton doing the color - though he is colorful - in a weird, early 70's hippy kind of way.
