Holy cow...Senior day is Monday

Kind of snuck up on me, but the schedule doesn't lie. With our final game away at OSU, Monday is the last time we'll see Frank, Landon and Tyler on the court at AFH. Likewise for Josh, and (I hope not) Devonte.

Senior speeches will be major tear jerkers this year. Frank has embodied the program and I can't imagine him not being in a KU uniform. Landon has grown into a great senior leader. And I can't even imagine how cool it must have been for the Self family having father and son work together for the past 4 years.

Time flies when you're winning championships, I guess.

Heart wrenching post, but oh so true. We (spoiled) fans go ridin' high in winter, only to eat shot down in spring. Worth it of course, but that last trip out to the flag pole always hurts*.



*. The NC was even worse because I was so manic and ecstatic after that '08 triumph I found myself "lost" come that Wednesday with the realization it was all over.

"Well, suck it up Bay, we want another NC!"
