"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
Just got home from running some post-championship errands, watching the post game celebrating on Time Warner Cable Sports Channel and reliving the highlights.
Have to update my Self Count and check the box score for the final stats.
Now the guys need to go to Austin and clinch the whole shebang (to show Shaka how it's done in the Big 12)!

My sis and are on the phone during the halftime and then after each game re-living the thrills, so I rarely can post immediately.
Frank was his usual wonderful self; DeVonte is returning to the player we used to know; Josh continues to amaze; and tonight someone who was disguised as Carlton Bragg really stepped it up! Hey, and Svi, along with his 3 pointers, showed us his blocking skills!
My favorite part of the whole evening was when Coach hugged his son, and Tyler's smile lit up the whole area.
When the crowd started chanting, "We want Tyler!" it took me back to the days of the Watley (sp?) watch.

Busy night required a dvr viewing. Just finished it. Great to see the walkons getting some time at the end. BTW. Coleby's dunk per minute stat must be off the charts.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
I loved this entire post. Thanks, Murph.
