If they give it to that UCLA kid, I'm gonna throw up. Frank has earned it and then some!

It really should be no contest. No offense to the other quality players in the running, Frank embodies what this team is this year.
No quit. Makes the plays to get the job done. Business as usual.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”

There really isn't any contest. For some reason, though, KU doesn't tend to get the limelight with these kinds of things. But Frank is clearly the POY across the land, and it isn't close. The guy is simply amazing. I can see why Coach Self says he's now the best guard he's ever coached--and that is saying a hell of a lot!

...in a ROAD game against the #4 team in the land, with everything to play for as opposed to KU (which could've afforded a loss and still been in position to secure #13).
THAT is the embodiment of Frank Mason, his game, and all that he means to this team. And when you come up big on the biggest of stages -- in a year in which night-in and night-out he's been consistently great (with just 2-3 exceptions) -- you deserve to be NPOY.
Let it be thus! FRANK the TANK is the man.
