Last 2:30 or so team defense was about as good as you can get and a real key.
Forcing fouls by driving it after team got into the bonus was important in keeping Baylor from settling into their game.
JJ starting to feel it. Getting confident from three. Still not there from the line obviously, but not afraid to get put on the line.
Frank, zone is tough for him...not real tall, less confident than going man-on-man, but he kept at it and was awesome from the line.
Had to have everybody play well, less margin for error with this team than some.
Getting guys off their feet and some rest between these big games is probably the most important thing at this time of year rather than pushing hard in limited practice time. Walk through tomorrow as start for prep for weekend.

Thanks for taking the time to report back on it, Oread. (I've always loved your moniker, btw!)
Self is right about the D down the stretch. And the D on Baylor's last possession? WOW. Textbook. We were on them like flies... (ahem) ... and Svi's tipped ball really blew up the whole thing. Great, great way to end it, if you're a KU fan. And it can't end much worse for a Baylor fan. Shedding a tear for them now...
Not.
“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Also in the post game comments by Coach Self he was asked if there was any updates on CB's status and he responded that "he was still suspended indefinitely"
