They are killing us on the offensive boards. We really need to keep working on that. We are only down 6 at the half and have not shot the ball well. If we can shoot the ball well from the outside we can win this game. We need much more from Devonte.

One would think this was a road game as passively as most of the guys are playing. Jackson and Graham are the only ones with some energy. Having said that, this is a terrible match up for KU. Lack of big guys really telling against a team with this kind of size and length. The Carlton Bragg we all hoped for at the start of the season would be a huge help, but...sigh.
Tough road ahead...both the second half and the next few weeks.

While they still had issues at times in the 2nd half, the team really flipped the switch after the break...and they really had to in order to make a comeback.
After being down to Baylor in rebounds at the half (-6 maybe?), they outrebounded them down the stretch and ended up leading 38-36 (or tied depending on the stat sheet) for the game. Against a team like Baylor that is a tenacious team rebounder, that was a big win and a real key to the positive outcome.
