"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
I love made to order bulletin board material for our guys, don't you? I can just see the visage of Frank "Great Stone Face" Mason until after Wednesday's game is in the record book.
We'll just have to wait to see if Baylor, who got lambasted much worse than we did in Morgantown, stays ahead of us after this week.
I have no problems with other teams outside of the Big 12 being ranked above us (see the BB comment above), but goldarnit, in conference they gotta prove they deserve a higher ranking by beating us at least once before someone gives it to 'em.
Rock Chalk!

The rankings don't mean as much as the standings.

Absolutely right!
Very few things are better BB material than to be ranked below a conference for but ahead of them in the standings. Means not getting respect outside of the conference despite the records.
