Whats up with Kentucky introducing the teams like it was WWF bout? Strikes me as the wrong road to go down, but I can see how they would not get it.

I am okay now. Just stuck me wrong when I saw the semi-pro Kentucky open the game this way.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
Some have more NCs, one has more wins, but the overall history and contribution of Kansas affiliated coaches, players and graduates are unmatched in the annals of the game.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Truer words have never been spoken (er, written), my friend. And even anti-KU partisans out there would have to admit that what you said is true.
