That will leave us real short on bigs. Hope it isn't too serious. Will get more court time for Lightfoot and Coleby is the only upside.

The timing is terrible in light of the ongoing investigation into the McCarthy Hall incident. The clarification that Carlton's problem is not related is a relief in that regard, but to think he has been in any situation that would warrant a suspension after last month leaves me shaking my head.

McCarthy Hall drug case pending

Suspect unnamed at this time but ordered to appear before Lawrence Municpal Court to answer to pending charges related to drug paraphenalia found during McCarthy Hall incident investigation. This incident was culled from the list of offenses collectively investigated as part of the original McCarthy Hall incident. This now separate incident was logged yesterday evening by campus police. The timing is interesting, though not damning by any means, and may be entirely coincidental. Time will tell...
