Player Rating by Game

I thought it might be helpful to graph the player ratings/min by game to see trends. Several things become obvious (as if they weren't already).

1. Frank Mason is a rock. He has had 1 subpar game (Kansas St) He has been above the important 0.6/min rating every other game. His 0.88 season rating is still the best since I have been tracking this stat.

2. Josh Jackson had a steep learning curve the 1st 4 games. He also has been a rock. Only against TCU was he below the 0.6 mark.

3. Landen's return is crazy obvious in the graph. He pretty much sucked the 1st 6 games, sat out the 7th and has been solid since. Actually he has been outstanding in the last 10 games with the exception of the Texas Tech game.

4. Devonte' started slow in the 1st 2 games, seemed to come around and has been inconsistent since. He was terrible against UNLV but has been on a steady rise since. Let's hope this consistent rise over the last 5 games is a sign of things to come. Overall he has managed to average 0.69 which is quite good. That is partly due to two games against easier opponents where he statted up.

5. I am a Svi fan but he needs to step up a little. His season rating of 0.53 per minute is too low. He has been steady but steady at a lower performance. 0.53 is okay for a sub but not a starter.

6. Vick had a few good games early and has been mostly poor since. His defense is a problem and his offense has been spotty. Rebound, steal and take the offense that comes.

7. Bragg actually started the season playing well. Over the last 7 games he has been sinking into a hole. He needs some serious coaching. He is in a major funk.
