For once I wasn't too mad that the early game went to OT and took forever at that. KU was within 1 when I first saw the action - unfortunately went to down 4 at half. Imagine HCBS will have fun again at half.

Good runs started and then dumb plays to cause us to fall behind again.
I love this team, but Bragg just drives me nuts when he forgets what he's been taught. It's time for him to grow out of the big goofy kid syndrome.
And Jackson, well, if Self told him not to take any more 3 point shots, he must not have been listening. This is a game where Josh needs to play within himself and not try--at any time--to take over the game. He can do this at times, but today is not the day.
I shouldn't blame a couple of individuals for the lousy play of the entire team. Except for Lucas.

Played a bit better late, but yea, that was a rotten half. Lucky to only be down 4.

For some reason, I do not think Frank will let this team lose at home. It's the road games that might leave me shaking a bit. But for now I'll enjoy beingv#1 for the weekend.

Wow. an 0-4 team takes us to the wire at home. Every game from here on out will be a nail biter, which actually sounds like a fun season to watch.
I think it's just so hard to separate from a lesser team when our opponent knows going inside is a virtually uncontested shot or a trip to the line every time. This is something like the sixth or seventh game in a row where an otherwise pedestrian big man has a career game against us.
And my gosh, Bragg plays as if he hasn't learned a single thing in two years playing for Self. Lost on defense, misses help assignments, can't hold the ball. Can Colby be that much worse that he never plays a minute and we have to endure Bragg as the only sub for Lucas?

I'm with you, AZ. I saw many missed assignments and just standing around under the basket today especially. It was as if 3 of our 5 players didn't want to get involved for fear of fouling.
As for Bragg, surely Colby or even Lightfoot couldn't be worse. Every time Bragg gets into the game I cringe, just like I did years ago when Nick Bradford tried to bring the ball up the court. Bill Self must be holding onto the hope that the light will go on soon.

Very worried due to razor thin rotation. Need much more from Bragg. In any game we are an injury, illness or foul out away from major problems. Can't help but feel that DC's knee is still an issue and ML is an off season (Hudy) away from being impactful.
