I know he fouled out, but he gave some quality minutes tonight at a very critical time in the second half. I am encouraged going forward.

At one point I was wondering if Colby could become this season's Landen Lucas. The team certainly started playing better when he was inserted.

Nothing in the middle. DC had a workmanlike 20 minutes. He seems to pass well and go after rebounds with tenacity.
The starters have me a bit concerned. Maybe they are adapting to the refs after rare whistles in practice, or maybe
jet lagged?
Then again having played the HCBS Hi-Lo this years perimeter emphasis might have them out of sorts?
LL had the boot on for a while so maybe that resolves itself. Five games is a small sample, but CB is playing more like a four year role player than a lottery pick anytime soon.
Given all the fouls I thought it was odd that ML didn't play?
Since we have big smalls , JJ & SM and somewhat LV we might be ok guarding the 4 with a quick guy most of the time.

My opinion is that we've all but abandoned not just the hi-lo, but feeding the post at all. Lucas is clearly frustrated, but he just can't deliver on offense. AZ can't either - yet. Many times the bigs posted, but the guards just ignored them and kept it on the perimeter.
Bragg so far is a big unknown because he shows no aptitude for playing as a big. His game is the 12-15 foot jumper from the key, with a few clean up points underneath. He plays like a 6-6 guys instead of 6-10, and so far is a below average rebounder.
Yesterday Self had Jackson at the hi post position against the zone, but it was to get him the ball to score, or to kick out to the guards. It wasn't to pass to any big.
Finally, the rules emphasis has really hampered what Lucas does so well - seal his guy down low with his body. He got two (or three?) fouls last night away from the ball, just sealing his guy.
