More than a dozen top recruits expected for KU basketball's Late Night in the Phog
"In years past, Late Night has been an effective recruiting tool for the staff in locking up top recruits like Sexton or Duval. Just two years earlier, Kelly Oubre canceled his planned visit to Kentucky and committed to KU shortly after attending Late Night.
“Seeing Allen packed is different from just walking in and seeing it empty. You can’t really imagine it,” said point guard Devonte’ Graham. “I think it’s definitely a huge impact on recruits.”
Oubre’s commitment wasn’t an isolated incident. Wildeboor noted several other players who committed after attending Late Night, including Wayne Selden."
