Kansas to host major event for Coaches vs. Cancer
"And this year, Kansas will hold a new fundraising event, a three-on-three tournament that will end with the championship games — men’s and women’s — played at Allen Fieldhouse before Late Night in the Phog.
Matt Tait with the Lawrence Journal-World pointed out that Kansas is the first school to run an event of this kind in the country.
Per the Lawrence Journal-World, Coaches vs. Cancer has raised more than $87 million and Ammons said Self and Kansas have been a huge part of that."
