RKCKJHK!!!
Does HCBS really need another 6'5" guy? And before we jump all over 18 ppg lets remember he played in the Colonial against powerhouses like Elon and Drexel. Thoughts?

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
I know we hit some dynamite with Frank and Devonte (as mid-major guard transfers), but it does make you wonder just what in the world is going on when we have to consider scraps like this in the spring to fill gaping holes in the roster.
I sincerely hope we're close to a lock on Josh Jackson and at least very much in the mix for some other higher-level talent, and only then (when looking to fill out depth, etc.) do we consider guys like this.
The thing is, we don't have the inside info on where we stand with whom like Self hopefully does. For instance, he may already know we've landed Josh (just awaiting the announcement) and perhaps 1-2 more...hence his being able to consider this type of guy--if he even is, on a serious level (which we also don't know). Having him come for a visit doesn't mean an auto-offer; it's a 2-way process in kicking the tires.
Just my off-the-cuff thoughts...

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
If he can help the Coach and the club chill as things heat up, I say sign him up!
(Not an actual endorsement, just riffing offa K's lead)
