Lopsided Game

The most lopsided Final Four game since the tournament expanded to 64+ teams was KU beating Marquette in 2003 by 33. Only 3 times has a team won by 20 or more. Duke beat West Virginia by 21 in 2010 and Duke beat Michigan St. by 20 last season. This 44 point loss is easily and by far the biggest beat down in Final Four history. The most lopsided win in the championship game was Duke beating Michigan by 20. This was an epic OU meltdown. Quite unbelievable.

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!

Let's just hope that Nova can keep the afterburners lit in the title game. We don't want to see a pattern repeat like we saw in 2003.

Epic meltdown, yes, but coupled with a complete domination by Nova. They were clearly the fuller, wholer team and it wasn't even close.

KU-Nova should've been at least a FF game, if not an NC game... :(

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”

1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.

Yeah, yeah I know he couldn't control what the other members wanted to do.

I also recall a drunken excuse for an aviator who got promoted to field grade rank instead of being passed over for promotion by the Army Personnel Command centralized promotion board that just happened to be chaired by his mentor (and this was the opinion -- and the disgust -- of every other officer, and many NCOs, in our command when discussed in private, not just *my* opinion).

Just another coincidence in a big, wide world of coincidences. But sometimes, even tho you can't prove it, that thing that looks like, walks like and sounds like a duck is a bloody duck.

[Note to the RCB -- youse guys and dolls are slippin'! I can't believe none of youse educated bums did not inform me of my now corrected subject line mistake (Boren instead of Castiglione). I attribute this otherwise disturbing apparent lack of collective RCB erudition and collegiality to KUMBB post-partum depression. Be well, RCBers, be well. Rock Chalk!][/i]
