Congratulations Perry! Your hard work and doing things the right way is rewarded with recognition of being a fine young man/old man role model for kids growing up to follow...Good things come to good people who do good things! Rock Chalk!

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
That makes two, AP & Wooden. Nice to see him getting the recognition. Congrats, Perry!

This is the kind of accolade I'd be looking for if I was the parent of a high profile recruit helping to decide on which program was best for my kid's future development ...not only as an accomplished pro-level athlete ...but also as a quality self actualized, independent, and educated person with a solid foundation on which to build a solid future!

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Well-stated, gorillahawk!
