Emotion

It occurs to me we as a fan base have gone from the high of highs and expecting another FF to the lowest of lows...in just the last few days...

Not low just nervous about the make up of next years team. I sure hope that Svi can stay at least through his third year as I think he's going to be a stud! As Bob Davis would say: "Svi for three..... SWISH!!"

absolutely understand the concern but with three starters back plus three reserves with lots of minutes and most importantly self back we shld be fine. obvi espec if we get jackson. it does feel like a great oppty tho to remind us all to have a little perspective. from early in the season thru that awful three game slump the postings on this board regarding perry ( soft non leader physically incapable of competing at a high level ) and wayne ( inconsistant massive dissapointment as a player) were really extreme. only landon got more criticism. now of course we lament losing most of our offense. the only reason i raise this is not to beat anyone up at all but to remind us in advance for next year as we start out rocky ( which we surely will) to have confience in the coach that he sees the potential in whoever he puts on the floor and more importantly the dynamic of the team they will become. and lets face it, expecting and watching that evolution is so much of the fun. think of like how whenever we see a picture just taken of ourselves and how we usually hate but that invariably five or more yrs later we think that guy/ girl looks pretty darn good. well i think the challange of life is trying to appreciate that picture on the day its taken if that makes any sense at all. in that context really looking forward to next season, bad runs and all, since i know these players, this coach and this program ( based on a very statistically valid sample) will reward my confidence in the end.

It happened so abruptly and the finality of it is so hard to process.
