You really need to stay another year but good luck.

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
You've been lost in Wayne's eyes since Day 1!

Who hasn't been mesmerized by those eyes?!
I'm quite thankful he is at least "legal"....I feel so less "aqualung"-ish!
Fond of most all the "lads"....but TRob was just waaaaaaaaaaaaay too special. Cannot think right now if there is a standout number 2 for me.

Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
It is always tougher losing the longer term guys. Wayne has been nothing but solid Crimson and Blue. Perry even more since it is 4 years instead of three. Jamari, while frustrating as hell on the court is as Crimson and Blue as they come and a 5 year guy to boot. As for me, just a quick brain dump on the bakers dozen guys that for one reason or another I favored
1. Darnell Jackson (duh, of course my favorite by 10 miles)
2. Kirk Hinrich - he was just Johnny hustle every play of every game and a solid kid.
3. Darnell Valentine - one of the best comeptitors ever at KU and a 3 time academic AA
4. Cedric Hunter -- Can't remember quite why just totally loved this kid
5. Ron Kellogg - Sorry Billy, sorry Downtown TB, this was the best pure shooter at KU
6. Jacque Vaughn - Another super smart player with not elite natural talent. The pure PG that KU so sorely needs.
7. Rex Walter -- Pound for pound the best competitor ever at KU, a Northwestern transfer
8. Raef LaFrentz - Next to Danny the most gifted player I saw at KU (i'm not old enough for the guys before 1975)
9. Danny Manning -- Isn't it required that he be on every KU fans list? Mr. Jayhawk.
10. Travis Releford -- Another get the most with least guy. Smart and a viscious defender.
11. Tony Guy -- Smooth operator and a really nice guy that I got to kow somewhat
12. Donnie von Moore - Good player that I lived next door to for the summer in Jayhawk Towers. A real sweetheart of a guy.
13 Milt Newton -- Not sure exaclty why I was such a fan. He just flew around and skied and was exciting.
Honorable mention goes to

It'll feel better when it stops hurting
is how I will always think of TRob and Wayne. When they were doing well they just glowed and when things weren't going well they were harder on themselves than anyone else could be.
The green eyes didn't hurt. lol
I'm gonna miss that kid
