Don't worry about the mules, just load the wagon!!
As the yer went on this season, I came to appreciate just how valuable Perry was to our success. He and Landen made a great pair and complimented ech other well. I am hoping that Dwight Colbey has a Tarik Black or Kevin Young type impact on this team. Just a flat out wish at this point. As for the knowns, Bragg seems to be the logical replacement. The kid has real natural talent but was just barely north of pathetic on defense more often than not. But that can be taught to the extent his shortcoming was skill and Hudy better do her magic because he needs about 20 pounds of muscle and about 250 more pounds on his leg press. But he gave resins to get excited. If Colby does a Black or Young we should be in good shape. If we get Jackson and he is s good as divertissement, we pick up the scoring sock for Perry. Rebounding we will be likely fine and if scoring is fine then team chemistry and efficiency is the last concern. I am hoping Devont'e' picks up where he ended up and even better. Frank will get healthy And get his mojo back. And Svi, assuming he is here may also be ready to pick up slack.you don't lose a guy like Perry and not miss him but we have a lot to be optimistic about.

IMHO, KU will miss Perry a lot. Hopefully Bragg will make great strides and fill some of the hole. Unless Coleby is a lot better than his brother Kadeem (WSU 2013-14), I don't expect much. You didn't mention incoming recruits Azubuike and Lightfoot. Vick showed good signs the few minutes he got to play. All in all, I expect KU to be a notch below this year's team. Maybe will get a star OAD who will make a difference.

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”

31 PPG just went out the door. The top 2 scorers, and well over one-third of our team point production.
We have bodies to help out at the 4 spot and pick up some of Perry's slack--most notably, Carlton. That won't happen overnight, but at least there is someone waiting in the wings.
As for Wayne, our first hope must be to land Josh Jackson, who could plug right in at the 3. Barring that, we'll be going with Svi, I would presume, along with Vick and Brannen gaining more PT on the wings.
It should be interesting, but make no mistake about it, we just lost two seasoned vets and our top scorers, which is anything but a trivial loss.

All very true, Konza, but I take comfort in knowing that the one thing everyone has agreed upon when it comes to HCBS -- the man knows how to reload, and reload quickly!
