I don't want to forget that tonight was his last night as our announcer. I have great memories of Bob and I wish him well. He gave us a ton of effort throughout the years and I always enjoyed listening to him when I couldn't watch the game. Props to Bob. Job well done! RC

Love Bob's exuberance and homer approach to KU. He bleeds Crimson and blue. I grew up out west and remember a much younger Bob Davis calling Fort Hays games and he broadcast some high school games I played in. What a great guy! I wish him well in retirement.

Bob and Max, genuine good guys. My freshman year at KU we went to KU-MU FB game, was parents' day, and we went to Valetino's on Mass Street Friday night and Bob and Max were there and we're just the so nice. They spent 20 minutes talking to us and Max regaled is with a great story and Bob made a wise crack that he was hired to be Max's memorex- something to that effect.
