The last minute shot by OR (which also didn't look that intentional) in the game is being highlighted mainly because of the fact that Coach KCVBNMWQZX apparently made a "teaching moment" out of his handshake with the kid who made the basket. Thoughts on whether this is appropriate by an opposing coach?? Many commenters on the articles think it's none of his business, several cited his own player Grayson Allen as someone he should concentrate on instead in terms of good sportsmanship, and others thought it was just Coach K always being the' good teacher' (they must be Dook fans). Curious to hear what this board might think??

In my judgment, Coach Ferret Face should shut is pie hole with respect to players on other teams.

None of his business

I read an article that said his coach told him to take the shot because the shot clock was set to go off and then Dook would get the last shot, not that it would matter

Spoiled rotten prima donnas. I don't need another reason to hate Puke, but thanks for something else to put in the file.

Now, let's show them how it's done.

Agree with the others. If he has an issue, take it up with the other coach. He has no business talking to another coach's players.

What DocBlues said. +1...and with the same level of disdain and contempt.

Between that and his condescending, preachy post-game presser, it's obvious he's getting more and more crotchety and self-righteous as he ages. But his Mike Wallace-like colored black hair never changes, so he's got that going for him...

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”

1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.

It is the former Jayhawk Theater sign in Topeka, remade into the Jayhawk Tower office building and event center that replaced the theater.

The great satan(except when he is coaching the Olympic team) has no business talking to other players when he has the new Laettner on his team. Whats that you say? Old "stomp on their chest" played for the same guy? Hmmmmmm? Do we see a pattern? It was clear to me Brooks was trying to apologize for making the shot. He made a smart play by throwing it at the rim to keep the clock moving. It just happened to go in. Who wouldn't celebrate that long of a shot? Get over yourself coach.
