“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”

Yes you did! My son and I were BRINGING IT tonight! Very vocal all night, even though we were surrounded by MD fans.
Much more to come tomorrow...
Elite Eight!

Konza, you and your son will be glad to know your chant was so loud on tv that one of the commentators remarked "that's the sound you never want to hear when you play KU." I cracked up. As you know Usually they ignore chant but this time they had to say something.

The crowd was great. They brought it when they had to, and I made a special point of piping up loudly with "Let's go, Jayhawks!" whenever the Maryland fans would stand up and try to start a collective "Let's go, Maryland!" chant.
The Rock Chalk chant was loud and eery (for opposing fans) at the end. A very sweet, soothing sound for KU fans!

Yep! It was loud and clear. I was watching with my son and we were commenting on how cool it is to hear it coming through the TV when they're away from home. Keep up the good work. Rest those pipes...we'll be needing them again tomorrow.

It has the sound of a Gregorian chat, like something one might hear in a cathedral such as Allen Field house.
