I mean, we're talking about practice?
Practice?
His second shot -- taken after time had run out and the nonchalant flip had already been made -- actually looked like a shot, and he missed it.
As has been noted here earlier by others -- NOBODY in the postgame interviews for either team said a thing about it. not even a reporter. Everybody knew it wasn't a real shot, it was just a toss of the ball off the backboard that happened to go in. Brannen dunking was a totally different case, his intentions were crystal clear in that instance. Still, you can bet that Self said something to Frank specifically in private -- and perhaps even to all the guys as well -- afterwards about perceptions.

Personally, as it had nothing to do with who won, I think the refs made too much of checking to see if it should count. EIther count it or don't. Of course, you have to have been actually paying attention to things in order to do that. Clearly the refs were also "oblivious that there was even time left on the clock" or anything else. They also had no idea that Frank walked -- but of course, these refs missed that all game. The refs should have just waived it off in the spirit of fair play -- everybody had clearly stopped playing -- and moved on. Reviewing it was the only "drama", and it was all generated by the refs, being the show yet again -- and yet again being bad at it.

Not a big deal at all, IMO...

I was thinking this morning as I was taking physical inventory wondering if I could conjure up an ailment so I could call in sick on this absolutely beautiful day......yes, one must have a better score than another to "win"......but even this uneducated eye can see that Frank contributes in so many other ways even when the shots don't fall.
Keep your Chin Up, Frank......you are CONTRIBUTING mightily!
Rock Chalk!
