For the benefit of ol' KU tonight there'll be a game to view in Louisville.
The fan support will be so grand, the cheer squad and the KU band – what a thrill!
Over Governors and Huskies, too, the Jayhawks travel in search of victory!
And to date they've been great, and will be again!
The celebrated KU team continues to pursue its dream of victory.
Frank, LL and D and Wayne and Perry and the rest take aim at history!
Messrs. Self and Staff assure the public their production will be second to none!
With 'Mari, Greene, Bragg and Cheick Dancing their hearts – out!
The game begins round 8:40 when ol' KU begins anew to make its mark.
The Terrapins stand in their way of playing yet another day, but take heart!
Having been some days in preparation, a splendid time is guaranteed for all!
Man the blocks, tonight the Jayhawks are topping the bill!
-with absolutely no apologies, but a sincere tip of the KU cap, to Messr. Lennon
