I was reading about the enemy earlier, and came across this piece:

www.baltimoresun.com/sports/terps/bs-sp-...-20160320-story.html

All was fine until I choked on this line:

After beginning the season ranked No. 3 nationally, behind the two winningest programs in college basketball history — North Carolina and Kentucky — the Terps got off to the best start in program history.

I fired off a note to the author and editor right away, notifying them of their careless error and providing official sources on it.

Some may think that's "anal," but the problem is inaccurate errors like that are read by millions--and often then repeated by other sources--leading to distortions of reality. I'm sure it was an unintentional slip-up, but good Lord, do your homework, pal. You get PAID to write this stuff!

Will do, Brother Jerome!

RE your question, Wednesday is D-Day. (Just posted on it)

I surprised my son with the news this weekend, prior to KU even winning the 2nd game (I had confidence!). He is thrilled, to say the least!

Hope you and/or the extended family can make it!
