Games will become more nail biting as the rounds progress in the tournament. While we all would like the tournament blowout we unleashed on UNC, that isn't likely to happen every game. So there are two choices for this question:
1. A close back-and-forth game early with the Jayhawks pulling away near the end
2. Opening up a big lead early and then defending that lead through to the end despite the opponent whittiling away at that lead
Although yesterday's victory margin against UConn exceed the predicted 6 to 8 point margin, I found the second half to be excruciating.
Rather get the big lead. I think the guys will learn from yesterday. However, saying that, don't you think that they put so much into the first half, they were actually too tired to keep it up for another half??? They didn't let the game get too dangerous, and that is what needs to be done.
Excruciating yes, but I always knew we would win (I always think that ) so I just wanted the clock to run out. As for your question, I would love an initial beat-down so Manning, Mickelson, and Self can get some quality minutes and Frank can rest!!!
Let's see what others think . . . poll to come.
