In addition to names like Trent Johnson (TCU) and Travis Ford (OkSt), Stanford has fired Johnny Dawkins.

Who will end up at
STANFORD
OKLAHOMA STATE
TCU?

Would Stanford go after Greg Marshall or Brad Underwood?

Would Marshall be interested in leaving Wichita State since VanVleet and Baker are graduating?

Documenting the improvement in coaching in the Big XII, with Brad Underwood being hired by OkState and TCU alum Jamie Dixon leaving Pitt for his alma mater.

Oy vey, the coaching has gotten better in the Big XII lately!

From here on out I'm limiting the list to positions I think would be of interest to the average RCB user and lurker.
I also added the conference affiliation of each team for ease of use.

Latest big moves of note since the Dixon and Underwood moves are:
Former KU star Jerod Haase leaving UAB to replace Johnny Dawkins at Stanford
Former KU Assistant Coach Kevin Stallings leaving Vandy of the SEC for Pittsburgh of the ACC.
Note that former Dukie and Stanford HC Dawkins landed on his feet at UCF in the American Conference.

A side story on a vacancy that I had not seen on *any* listing of coaching vacancies before today. It is really of note only because of the name of the new coach, and IMO that says a lot about the state of the school's program.

AAC's Tulane hires long-time former NBA coach Mike Dunleavy.

Western Kentucky hired Rick Stansbury, so with Townsend not going there, they are off the list below. ( Thanks, JR! )

While the latest may not meet your restricted definition of update material, I submit them because of the impact to OU.

OU Asst - Steve Henson to UT San Antonio (CUSA)
OU Asst - Lew Hill to UT Rio Grande Valley (WAC)

The notable changes for this edition are Bryce Drew leaving Valpo for Vandy, Saint Louis U hiring Travis Ford and Santa Clara being the latest program to give Herb Sendek a chance to continue coaching in Division 1 MBB.

Thanks to JR for his input on OU assistants Steve Henson (KState alum) and Lew HIll (former Shocker) leaving Kruger's staff for head coaching gigs respectively with UT San Antonio and UT Rio Grande Valley.

edit: Also of note -- former KU Video Coordinator and TAMU Assistant Kyle Keller replaced Brad Underwood at Stephen F. Austin. Congratulations and best wishes to Kyle in his first HC position!

I thought the name Kyle Keller (Brad Underwood's replacement at Stephen F Austin) looked familiar, but I had forgotten that Kyle had been Bill Self's video coordinator for 3 seasons before taking an assistant's position at TAMU. Before KU he had worked for both Eddie and Sean Sutton for 9 years at OSU. I have edited today's update to include his KU ties.

From Gary Bedore's article Ex-Robert Morris guard to visit KU :
Former KU staff member Kyle Keller has been hired to replace Brad Underwood as head coach at Stephen F. Austin. Keller had been an assistant at Texas A&M the past five seasons after working for KU coach Bill Self three seasons as video coordinator.

“Kyle brings a wealth of experience having worked for great coaches like Eddie Sutton, Bill Self and Billy Kennedy. This experience will fit well to continue our SFA basketball culture of winning championships and making NCAA tournament appearances,” Stephen F. Austin AD Robert Hill said. “He cares deeply for his players and is a wonderful husband and father. We are so happy he has agreed to become a Lumberjack. I look forward to having our fans and students get to know him.”

Here's an Aggie article as well.

Congratulations and best of luck to the newest branch -- perhaps a graft in Kyle's case? ;) -- on KU's historic head coaching tree!

Dang, that's an impressive first gig as a head coach. They are nothing to sneeze at as a feisty mid-major in hoops. Just ask Huggins and the Mountaineer crowd...

Georgia Tech has hired Memphis HC Josh Pastner to replace recently fired Brian Gregory.
Your opinions, RCBers -- was this a significant upgrade for the Yellow Jackets?
I can easily see Pastner's YJ's being stomped on by the ACC brethren for some time to come.

Tubby is gone to Memphis, leading Chris Beard to get the wedding to UNLV annulled so he could Dustin Hoffman graduate to long time flame and "dream job" TTech.
