MSU came roaring back, cut the deficit to one, and since then Middle Tenn has been keeping Sparty at arm's length.

Can they do it for another half?

I thought crazy 3 pt shooting was the standard storyline for KU demise in the tourney... Interesting to see it happening to another big name school.

Won't be surprised if MSU eventually gets it sorted out, but the longer his goes on, the harder it will be to get it done.

54-48 MTSU under 13:00 to go.

What a fight! MSU not giving up, but they are having to claw their way back. Cut it to 1, but MTSU came back to score down under w/ a foul going into under 8:00 TO. 67-64 pending foul shot... Good stuff.

This could still be pretty interesting final :30 MTSU has 5 pt lead and ball but only shooting 47% from line.

Good grief, 60% from 3, but can't make anything standing at the free throw line

Homerun pass leads to missed dunk but 2 foul shots made. Blocked shot and recovery by MTSU. Now Off the line 87-78.

MSU hits a quick 3 and fouls again. MTSU hits free throws to keep them at arms length. 89-81 with academic free throws to come and :05 left.

Mid Tennessee led the whole game.

I think Syracuse could be in trouble if they play anywhere close to the same game. MTSU looked great.

MTS really look terrific. Even the great IZZO can go down early with a 2 seed.
