Early look at KU-UConn, depending on whether you consider Des Moines "home" or "neutral" (via Gamepredict.us):

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”
1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.
Interesting in that it predicts a 10-point KU win if it's considered more of a "home" crowd/game, but a closer 6-point game if considered "neutral."
As I mentioned in the IU-UK thread, if IU wins the game against ConTucky prior to ours, it will become a more pro-KU arena because many anti-KU Big Blue fans will scurry to the exits with their tails between their legs--or sit silently in shocked dejection.

(Ashley went to Kensucky.)
Of course, anything that makes her cry is alright with me!

"Travel is fatal to prejudice, bigotry and narrow-mindedness, and many of our people need it sorely on these accounts. Broad, wholesome, charitable views of men and things cannot be acquired by vegetating in one little corner of the earth all one's lifetime." - Mark Twain "Innocents Abroad"
Away from the arena I actually like Ashley quite a lot. She even played one of my all-time favorite Star Trek characters, Ensign Robin Lefler.
Still, when it comes to CBB, I always enjoy the significance, if not the actual act, of her crying.

Sorry for confusing the thread.....forgot it's hard to follow my thought process.
I meant wanting to see a sobbing A Judd after IU takes out the squidlets!

My comment was directed at Bay because he was being so mean, Wheaty. I was NOT admonishing you, and certainly agree, as I noted, that I enjoy the significance of her tears in the stands!

The fans of the UK -I winner will almost all morp int Huskie fans. The fans of the loser of that game will mostly either leave or do the same. Neutral probably describes the mix of partisans though the Jayhawk fans should be far more vigorous than UConn's new-found cheering section?

I've never sensed any natural anti-KU animus among IU fans. UK fans are another story altogether. Some IU fans might break for UConn to root against the top seed, but IMO they would be nothing like the UK fans in their vocal support for UConn against KU.
Regardless, our players need to drown all of that out and just get it done. Play at an elite level, because I think we're going to need it in this one.
