Nice win for the good guys. It's not easy keeping your mojo up for a team that you could run out of the gym by 50.

Saturday will be a MUCH TOUGHER foe, as we all know. UConn is on a roll, their M.O. is turning it on in the post-season. Their young coach has yet to lose in the NCAA tourney (7-0). They play tough defense and have some serious athletes. They're playing with house money.

But guess what? We're the better team. We're on an even better roll (15 straight). We know how to bring it and close the deal. Our guys are very seasoned. We can break your back with killer shooting, athletic dribble penetration, and (increasingly) strong rim play. We have depth. Our guys practice daily against the best team in the country--KU. Ellis isn't going out in the 2nd round in his final post-season. Self is the next college Hall of Fame coach.

And last but not least:

Onward and Upward for the KU Locomotive...

ROCK CHALK!!!

“With kindest regards to Dr. Forrest C. Allen, the father of basketball coaching, from the father of the game.”

1936 inscription on the portrait of Dr. Naismith, displayed above Phog Allen's office desk at KU.

And the ace up our sleeve is Seldon - if he shows up to play like he did today. We can certainly win without him but when he is feeling it this deep and talented team is unstoppable at this point
