Did anyone else feel like that was a horrible decision to drag out a previously 1-hour show into 2 dreadful hours?

It almost felt like they just threw the script together as well for how they'd manage the time...from Sir Charles not knowing how to operate the board (and the awkward back and forth with the lead guy on that front) to them revisiting the regions over and over and over...to kicking it back and forth between the NBA guys and the college guys.

I thought it was horrible, unless the intent was to promote a new insomnia cure. I'd much prefer the traditional one-hour show, whose basic mission is to put out the brackets, do a little analysis, then stop--at which point I'd always switch over to ESPN for the deeper bracket dives and analysis.

Anyway, my DVR remote (fast-forward) got a very good workout with the new format! ;)

The KU part was over quickly. After that it became a BIG XII watch for me,

Worse than colonoscopy prep.

It was painfully long. In addition, having to watch and listen to Barkley and Gottlieb put their ignorance on display was also painful.

A much better two hour investment was the ESPN bracket breakdown last night with Jay Williams and Miles Simon. Very informative and did I mention they picked KU to win it all?

If they insist on dragging it out to 2 hours, then I'd hope that they'd at least announce when each "announcement" was being made. So at 5:05 they'll reveal the #1 seeds. At 5:15, they'll reveal the Midwest. Banter for half an hour and then at 5:45 they could do the West. If they were smart, they'd couple it online with an app that "revealed" the bracket, linked up to the CBS bracket game so that you could start monkeying with your picks straight away. At least by announcing times, you'd know that if you didn't want to listen to half an hour of banter, you could flip to golf and come back for the next scheduled announcement.

Posted this elsewhere. The 2 hour thing is terrible.
